Warm-Ups & Stretches

This growing list of activities provide an opportunity for group members to “get the blood moving.” As a form of de-inhibitizer, they can also set the tone for somewhat less physical but more emotionally demanding requirements of your program.

To be effective, Wamp-Ups & Stretches typically feature:

  • Fun as a major component
  • A variety of challenges allowing each person to choose their own level of physical (or emotional) involvement
  • Lopts of interaction
  • Emphasis on effort / trying rather than success / failure
  • 1 to 15 minutes of play
